Most viewers comments reflected how Beth Caulfield's presentation of her journey was so honest and thought provoking of how we support a woman with an unplanned pregnancy. The audience was vocal on critiquing her Pastor; calling for her to leave "that" church. Whether it was her spouse, Pastor, family member or friend with the exception of few, the advice given from well meaning people came from emotion rather than a Biblical prospective. May we all walk in the path of the two encouraging friends whose responses were the Word of God and loyal support. I am fervently praying for a time of sanctity of life where we see every baby as an image bearer of Christ.
If you have seen the movie, would be willing to leave an honest, positive rating and a short review on IMDb.com , click on Conceivable, it would be greatly appreciated. IMDb is the preeminent movie rating website owned by Amazon.com. Something suspicious has been going on with ratings. We had honest ratings and then we tanked in one day by 41%! IMDb scores can impact visibility, audience reach, and the way the film is perceived by future viewers. Beth believes the negativity stemmed from a broader, politically based campaign that really has nothing to do with the movie. Beth has chosen to respond with truth and positivity--letting real audience and team voices reflect on the impact of the film. Please take the time to take the short survey.
If you missed the movie, Conceivable, be apprised that two weeks ago Beth signed a worldwide distribution with Hawk Hill Pictures for normal distribution by possibly Netflix and/or Amazon Prime. We will provide more information as we receive it.
A total of 102 people viewed the movie at East Tawas Family Theater. Thanks to our generous donors, we were able to cover the cost of the movie fee. Nancy from the theater donated the money paid for the delicious "mocktails" they created to the center. We are very appreciative. The center netted $1,644.25 which we will put in our building purchase fund.
