New Digital Newsletter!

Dear Partners for Life,

I want to remind each of us about our mission statement. The mission of the Center is "to provide valid pregnancy and parental choices. In addition, we provide educational support and spiritual support for the development of healthier children, families and communities."

We address three key challenges in 2025 to achieve our mission:

Challenge #1 - It is necessary to purchase our buildings by December 31, 2025. To that end, we have been writing grants, seeking event sponsorships and praying. We have been informed by Molina Healthcare Community Outreach that we are recipients of a $6,250 grant. The recent HOT DOG sale at Neiman’s generated $1,523.14. These monies will be used toward the down payment to purchase our buildings. Thank you to Molina Healthcare and Neiman’s Food Center for your support! I will remind you that in our yearly newsletter 2025, I set forth the vision to complete the title.....”and Information Center.” The vision is to have a Life Skills Center. It is our intention to have our doors remain open to better meet the needs of our underserved and general population of our communities through education.

Reminder: To purchase our buildings, the bank requires us to also take on the responsibility for half of the parking lot. To replace our half would require a momentary price to us of $46,747.50. However, our insurance carrier will continue to cover the parking lot if the holes are filled in. Gravel is acceptable. East Tawas Senior Center’s President has agreed to provide the gravel and fill the holes.

Challenge #2 - Fill in the gaps left with the closure of the Tawas OB department. To support our mission of offering valid pregnancy and parental choices, we provide educational modules and supplement them with one-on-one mentoring. Our mentoring staff are dedicated to saving the lives of the Unborn and building healthy families. Two of our mentors are from the Tawas OB nursing staff! With the acquisition of the building, we can also hold group classes on birthing, lactation and Birth of a Family Charter.

To support our vision, we are arranging free ultrasound appointments for abortion-minded women in both West Branch and Alpena. It is the goal of the Knights of Columbus to have an ultrasound machine within a 100-mile proximity of every Pregnancy Care Center. Thanks to the Knights’ support tof Life, we have two destination options.

Challenge #3 - Our social media presence is weak. Currently, we are setting up accounts for a new Facebook and Instagram. We would choose more platforms, but it would require someone to monitor them. Would you care to volunteer? We have been working hard and will continue to do so! Even though the challenges are large we serve a Mighty God, Jehovah Jireh who will supply all our needs! Further outreach will garner more clients for us to serve. Additional volunteers are required. Mentors, receptionists, boutique helpers, fundraising assistance, housekeeping, social media development and board members. Reach out for a chat with our Administrative Assistant, Carol Reynolds at 989-305-6308 to explore how you can help.

Our next event is our Annual Fall Fundaraising Banquet. This year’s title is “Be the Light: Real Lives. Real

Impact.” Rather than a guest speaker, we will have testimonials from our clients whose lives have been

impacted by our Pregnancy Center. We want you to hear how your support has changed lives in powerful, positive ways. We have also changed the way we will garner support for the banquet. Instead of table sponsors, we intend to have event sponsors. (See the website for detailed information: www.pregnancyhelpandsupport.org). As always, guests participate free of charge. We will still have our meal, music, and silent auction. So...SAVE THE DATE: Thursday, October 2, 2025. See our event

promotion in orange in this newsletter. Doors will open at 5:00pm at the Tawas Methodist Church,

20 M-55, Tawas City, MI 48763. Please RSVP by September 11, 2025, to 989-305-6308. Event sponsorship packets will be mailed out by July 31, 2025. Please contact the Center at 989-305-6308 if you want a packet or locate the details on our website.

This is a very challenging and exciting time! For such a time as this God has called us to partner with him to support the gift of life. He will

equip us.

To God be the glory!

Blessings, Mary
