My Technical Guide Is Too Difficult
I wrote a technical guide for a project and felt proud of it until someone new joined our team. They struggled to understand several sections. That made me realize I had written it for myself instead of for the reader. I am now considering a technical writing service in USA. Has anyone hired a technical writer to make complicated information easier to understand? Did they need to learn about the product first? I would be interested in hearing how others handled technical writing for people with different levels of knowledge.
