Training Program Support

I have a story in mind that I would like to turn into a proper book. The problem is that I do not have much free time, and finding someone nearby is not easy. I came across an online ghostwriting service and started wondering how the whole process works remotely. Has anyone done this through emails or video calls? Was it easy to explain your ideas? I am mostly worried that something important might get lost when you are not sitting in the same room with the writer.
