Pregnancy Tests and Ultrasounds available by Appointment

Our Center has always had the option with the West Branch Pregnancy Center and now Alpena Pregnancy Center will also do the same for us. We decided to advertise on our building so, that Abortion Minded Women will schedule an ultrasound with one of our Pregnancy Centers. An ultrasound is required to determine what type of abortion a woman can consider. It is our hope that they will come to us for their ultrasound. We turn the screen, so the mother sees the baby. Most times this will detour a woman from abortion. We can discuss how we can help through parenting or adoption choices. It is imperative that we garner the attention of Abortion Minded Women before a baby's life is taken. Pray that they will come to our doors. Remember with the switch from Ascension to My Michigan the community no longer has the protection of a Catholic Hospital System where no abortions were performed. Chilling, sober thought.

It is our hope in Phase 3 of our building plans to covert our Adult Clothing boutique to our Ultrasound Room. One of our Mentors, Anne, is currently pursuing her accreditation as an Ultrasound Tech. After she has completed her course and practicums and until we need her, she will be working at the Alpena Pregnancy Center. Then when we meet the threshold to become a clinic, we will share her expertise.
